This is a great idea. I have been trying baby steps with this one. I try to look people in the eyes and smile. You can actually smile with your eyes as well – you will find that you can’t help smiling with your lips as well. Try it!

I actually find myself complimenting people often. Most of the time on what they are wearing, but on other things too. Simple things like “that shirt is a really pretty color.” Sometimes I think they’re thinking “what do I care if this person likes the color of my shirt?” . But then I think “who doesn’t want to hear that somebody likes something about them? How can that be a bad thing?” Glad to know I am passing on good karma!
